Job Title / Designation :Senior Faculty 3D VISUAL EFFECTS & ANIMATION
Job Description:
- Develop and update engaging and industryrelevant 3D curriculum across various disciplines
- including modeling texturing rigging animation lighting and rendering.
- Maintain a high level of proficiency in industrystandard 3D software (e.g. Maya Houdini
- Blender ZBrush Substance Painter).
- Deliver highquality lectures demonstrations and workshops to students of varying skill
- levels.
- Integrate current industry trends and software advancements into the curriculum.
- Create and maintain detailed course materials assignments and assessments.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to students fostering their creative and technical
- development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals studios and
- organizations.
- Contribute to the overall planning and development of Seamedu.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
Specific Skill Set:
- Strong understanding of industrystandard 3D software (e.g. Maya Houdini Blender
- ZBrush Substance Painter).
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience in team management and student mentorship.
- Strong industry connections and networking skills.
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Ability to effectively present information to various audiences including faculty students
- industry professionals and university administrators.
Minimum/Maximum/ Work Experience Required: 5 years
Location(s) of Job: Pune
Minimum Education Requirements: Master's degree (preferred) in VFX Animation Computer
Graphics or a related field. A strong portfolio demonstrating professional experience.
Any other skill set:
- Understanding the entire VFX/Animation pipeline from preproduction to postproduction is crucial. This includes knowledge of asset management rendering and optimization.
- Familiarity with realtime rendering engines (Unreal Engine Unity) virtual production techniques motion capture AI tools for VFX and other cuttingedge technologies is a significant advantage.
- Time management and followup skills
