Casa Brera a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International is currently recruiting a Sales Manager to join a team made of modern and authentic hospitality professionals in the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in Milan.

Reporting to the Director of Sales the Sales Manager is part of an important team responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic sales plans.

The starting date is as soon as possible.

The impact youll make

As a Junior Sales Manager you will play a crucial role in driving our propertys revenue growth. Your expertise in supporting strategic sales plans and building strong client relationships will directly contribute to our success. By identifying new business opportunities negotiating contracts and exceeding sales targets you will help position our property as a market leader. Your efforts will not only boost our revenue but also enhance our reputation and guest satisfaction.

What youll do

  • Building Successful Relationships that Generate Sales Opportunities
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
  • Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Recognize opportunities to upsell the customer and sell enhancements to create a better Marriott experience or event.
  • Perform general office duties to support Sales (e.g. filing sending emails typing).
  • Enter retrieve reconcile and verify information (e.g. commissions leads third parties) in software involved in the sales process.
  • Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g. brochures promotional materials). Determine and give complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage (e.g. rewards points show tickets).
  • Prepare salesrelated documents throughout the sales process (e.g. proposals contracts or banquet event orders).
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.

Managing Sales Activities

  • Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g. generating proposal writing contract customer correspondence).
  • Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue
  • Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
  • Understands the overall market competitors strengths and weaknesses economic trends supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
  • Closes the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.
  • Gains understanding of the locations primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business business issues and concerns to offer better business solution.

What were looking for:

  • At least two years experience in a similar role within luxury and lifestyle hospitality brands.
  • Fluent English and Italian language mandatory third language would be a plus.
  • Time management and decisionmaking skills.
  • Customeroriented and high level of presentational abilities.
  • Positive demeanor integrity and dependability.
  • Bachelors degree in hospitality would be a plus.
