Reporting to the Field Service Engineer Manager the Associate Field Service Engineer is responsible for performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and servicing customers primarily in New York Pennsylvania Virginia and the Northeastern United States. This role provides field technical and customer service support for Aria Filtra products and processes. This is a technical position that requires the ability to safely perform handson work optimize processes and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Travel is estimated to be 75 85.
If you are located in Cortland the travel requirement will be lower.
This position is part of the Field Service team located in Cortland NY and will be remote.

In this role a typical day will look like:
Primary responsibility will be completing Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) for permanent systems and mobile systems prior to shipment to customer sites.
Assists in the commissioning service and contracted services to the installed base and mobile water deployments as assigned.
Solve problems evaluate systems and processes to isolate root causes and implement corrective actions as required.
Support customers from startup through to the purchase of their next Aria Filtra and Trojan UV system.
Utilize your fellow team members to service our customers efficiently and effectively.
The essential requirements of the job include:
At least 3 years of Field Service experience or similar or 2 years of experience plus a technical degree or 3 years of experience without a degree.
Availability to travel between 75 to 85 of the time. (the closer you are located to Cortland NY the lower the travel percentage).
Familiarity with electrical electronic hydraulic and mechanical principles with the ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Comfortable working with computers and control systems.
Ability to work with crossfunctional teams such as Engineering Sales and Operations to solve sitespecific challenges and develop unique solutions to meet customer requirements and drive product improvements.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenuebased metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $33.00 $36.00 USD per hour.This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
