Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality general surgical care with a focus on patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Perform endoscopic procedures (experience preferred).
- Work closely with hospitalists who admit patients ages 15 and older allowing the surgical team to focus on procedural care.
- Manage acute care surgical consults with approximately 414 consults/admissions per year.
- Participate in 146 scheduled shifts annually ensuring a balanced worklife structure.
- Conduct consultations and followup visits at a conveniently located clinic across the street from the hospital.
Hospital and Community Details:
- Hospital Size: 211 beds with no trauma designation.
- Emergency Department Visits: 34331 visits per year.
- Location: Situated in Redlands CA offering a charming community with a high quality of life excellent schools and easy access to outdoor recreation.
Qualifications:
- Must possess or be eligible for California medical licensure.
- Board Certified in General Surgery.
- Endoscopy experience is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical focus excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to building longlasting relationships with patients and hospital teams.
