Sr. Subcontracts Administrator (Clinton Iowa)KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and valueadded solutions across the entire asset life cycle. KBR is looking for a Sr Subcontracts Administrator to help support a project based in Clinton Iowa.
Performs full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work. Qualifies suppliers issues requests for proposals evaluates proposals maintains subcontract files in accordance to established procedures. Under general supervision solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices. Uses experience and problemsolving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 7 years of experience.
Position Description/Job Responsibilities
- Under general supervision participates in managing Contractors engaged in construction activities for the Energy & Chemical industry
- Preaward activities include qualifies potential bidders assembles and issues Invitations To Bid thru companys Contract Management system and assists with commercial & technical bid evaluations through contract award
- PostAward activities will include finalization and award of contracts daily management during including communications invoicing change management status reports and contract close out
- If assigned candidate must be able to complete the site assignment under the Terms and Conditions set forth by KBR
- Position will be in Clinton Iowa
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Science Engineering Industrial Distribution Quantity Surveying Supply Chain Management Business Administrations or equivalent work experience
- Minimum seven 7 years of experience in Subcontracts formation and administration
- Must have strong communication and writing skills and attention to detail
