Job Description
Title: Cassandra Administrator
Location: Austin TX or Sunnyvale CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)
Implementation Partner: Infosys
End Client: To be disclosed
JD:
At least 2 3 years of experience with Cassandra
Proficient in Python for automation (good to have)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills along with good communication skills
Experience with Ansible
Experience in at least one cloud platform: AWS Azure or Kubernetes
Experience in Linux or Unix system administration and performance tuning including Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices including:
Issue triaging and troubleshooting
Vulnerability assessment and CVE interpretation
Monitoring and analyzing logs from cloud platforms systems devices IDS/IPS tools
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation toolsets
Ability to:
Work closely with the DevOps team and Senior DevOps Manager to test system integrity
Design and implement build deployment and configuration management pipelines
Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
Manage code deployments across environments
