- Teaches District approved curriculum
- Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated
- Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs interests and abilities of the students
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of the students
- Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
- Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and in harmony with the goals establishes clear objectives for all lessons units projects and the like to communicate these objectives to students
- Assist in referring the learning disabilities of students
- Evaluates pupils academic and social growth keeps appropriate and current records and prepares progress reports
- Is available to students and parents for educationrelated purposes during the instructional day and planning period
- Provides challenging and relevant instruction on a daily basis to all students and is able to differentiate instruction to the students
- Follow expectations given from administration verbally and written
- Assists the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct and for the classroom develops reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure and maintains order in the classroom in a fair and just manner
- Participates in the approved evaluation process

- Daily attendance and punctuality are required for the purpose of ensuring the goals of the work unit can be met

Job Description Assistant Coach
- Assist Head Coach with General Duties
- Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Assistant coaches shall be directly responsible to the athletic director in their coaching duties and shall:
- Be responsible for the care of all athletic equipment by:
- Preparing and keeping an inventory of all equipment fixtures and properties of the athletic program in the school to which they are assigned.
- Seeing that proper maintenance is done.
- Assist the athletics director in developing a public relations program designed to keep patrons informed as to the accomplishments of the athletic program. They shall:
- Cooperate with the community agencies and the press.
- Plan consistent and continuous efforts to maintain good homeschool relations.
- Assume the responsibility of the schools participation in all interscholastic conference activities in athletics by:
- Keeping abreast of all rules and regulations of the Arkansas Activities Association and the AAA Conference and see to it that the school in all matters complies with these regulations.
- Making all necessary reports to the conference in cooperation with the principal.
- Attending all meetings necessary to properly implement conference rules and regulations.
- Assume responsibility for the general management (use care and maintenance) of athletic fields facilities dressing rooms etc. under his/her supervision.
- Be directly responsible to the principal and athletic director for their behavior
- Cooperate with the athletic director and head coach.
- Make every effort to attend the sport contests at their school and the junior high school.
- Encourage all athletes to participate in other sports.
- See that no profanity is used by coaches or players.
- Be responsible for the behavior of athletes under their supervision.
- Be responsible in seeing that each athlete has a physical examination before issuing any equipment.
- Perform other duties from time to time that may be assigned by the principal athletic director or head coach.
