Job Description:
As the Financial Director your duties and responsibilities could include the following:
Develop and execute the companys financial strategy in alignment with business objectives
Lead financial forecasting budgeting and longterm financial planning
Advise senior leadership on financial performance and decisionmaking
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements ensuring compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and statutory requirements
Ensure all tax filings audits and financial regulations are adhered to and uptodate
Monitor and manage cash flow capital expenditures and working capital
Analyze key financial data to identify trends risks and opportunities for business growth
Provide indepth financial analysis to support strategic decisions cost control initiatives and investment strategies
Lead financial performance reviews and operational performance metrics
Manage the financial aspects of the manufacturing process including production costs inventory management and cost control
Work closely with production teams to improve financial efficiency and profitability
Evaluate capital expenditure projects assessing the financial feasibility of new equipment facilities or expansions
Lead and mentor the finance department fostering a highperformance culture
Oversee the recruitment training and development of financial staff.
Ensure the finance team is effectively structured and equipped to meet organizational needs
Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the companys assets and mitigate financial risks
Identify and manage financial and operational risks ensuring the company is prepared for potential challenges
Communicate financial results forecasts and strategies to senior management and external stakeholders (e.g. investors auditors banks)
Participate in board meetings and provide financial insights to support decisionmaking
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes systems and controls to enhance operational efficiency
Ensure costeffective operations while maximizing profitability across the business
Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial software and systems to improve reporting and data accuracy
Lead the transition to new financial technologies as needed to support business growth
Skills & Experience:
10 Years of experience in financial management
Manufacturing experience
Proficiency in Syspro
Qualification:
Completed Bcom degree
