Procurement Manager
Job Description Summary
The Procurement Manager will lead and manage the strategic sourcing contract administration vendor relationship management and overall operations for all Procurement activities across the portfolio of sites on a Client account. This position is highly visible within internal & external stakeholders and will be clientfacing.
Please note that this team member will be required to be onsite 3 days a week (M W F) located in New Orleans at 639 Loyal Ave.
Job Description
- Manage the Procurement relationship with Client C&W Account Management C&W Procurement Category Management C&W Risk C&W Legal Suppliers and other key stakeholders.
- Analyze accountwide facility management services spend suppliers operations and statement of works to identify opportunities for value creation.Develop and implement a procurement strategy based on the identified opportunities.
- Develop and facilitate multiple eRFPs analyze responses negotiate and use other techniques as required to obtain the expected results.
- Provide evaluation and recommendation to Account Management.
- Interpret contracts negotiate with vendors and ensure appropriate contractual records retention.
- Advise management regarding contractual matters and engage in effective use of Legal and Risk Departments.
- Maintain organized records to ensure any implemented system of checks and balances are being continually met for service contracts and additional compliance items.
- Maintain organized records and establish tracking to manage the workflow of multiple concurrent sourcing events.
- Employ C&W best practices policies processes tools and templatesto include both C&W Corporate and Client account specificationsas well as engaging with Category Managers and preferred suppliers in the of Procurement responsibilities.
- Participate at appropriate level and frequency in all meetings.
- Generate and distribute all necessary and requested reports.
- Resolve issues from the client with respect to supplier performance and quality of service
- Perform other miscellaneous related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business or related field is required. MBA or related Master Degree preferred.
- 6 years experience in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing ideally in facility services or related discipline.
- Understanding of the Strategic Sourcing processes and demonstrated proficiency with etools such as eRFPs reverse auctions ecatalogs and contract management systems
- Must possess legal knowledge ability to prepare/negotiate agreements and amendments and the ability to explain to client the specifics of the contracts.
- Must possess analytical and quantitative skills with ability to analyze and interpret information data and related documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Selfmotivated and work independently to find solutions
- Detailoriented with strong analytical skills
- Strong organization skills with the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
- Hybrid role will need to be onsite 3 days a week (Monday Wednesday Friday)
