PURPOSE
Assist the CBBIC in carrying out its mission in support of TAMUCC and the College of Business directly related to increasing and maintaining societal impact and community engagement.
DESCRIPTION
Functional Area 1: Existing Project Management
Percent Effort: 40
Plans organizes directs and comanages daytoday activities developing and implementing procedures for the administration of the projects including Doing Business with Giants Pathways for Success and Community as a Startup.
Assists in developing strategic plans and goals to support current projects.
Assists with the development and management of production of materials designed for projects including marketing materials and social media.
Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders in support of the projects.
Assists with material development and presentations at trainings conferences seminars and workshops.
Comanages the overall goals objectives and relationships for each assigned project or project including external customers and clients.
Maintains and develops communication between community and project partners by attending meetings.
Functional Area 2: New Project Management
Percent Effort: 50
Plans organizes directs and manages daytoday activities developing and implementing procedures for the administration of new projects including Student Agency Venture Studio Cybersecurity and Faculty Ambassadors.
Assists in developing strategic plans and goals to support new projects.
Provide subject matter expert advice to CBBIC clients on topics related to computer science and cybersecurity matters.
Develop and present workshops and lectures in the areas of computer science and cybersecurity to local businesses through the CBBIC Lunch and Learn project.
Manages the overall goals objectives and relationships for each assigned project or project including external customers and clients.
Assists with the development and management of production of materials designed for projects including marketing materials and social media.
Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders in support of the projects.
Assists with project and material development and presentation of trainings conferences seminars and workshops.
Makes initial and followup calls and presentations to potential clients and project partners.
Maintains and develops communications between partners by attending meetings and conference cans
Functional Area 3: Administrative
Percent Effort: 10
Supervises student assistants in support of managed projects.
Assists with yearly budgetary and contract processes.
Works with administrative assistant to ensure vouchers purchase orders and requisition are created and received in a timely fashion. Coordinates with accounting personnel and other support staff.
Assists with research the development of white papers grant applications and prepares presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in applicable field
Three years of experience
Additional education may be used as a substitute for the minimum experience requirement:
Masters degree and one year of experience
Sound sales and marketing skills including soft skills for making presentations and meeting with clients and prospects
Ability to make sound basic decisions and articulate proposed solutions to problems
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal leadership problem solving and organizational skills.
Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge specifically Word Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge and demonstrable skills in computer science cybersecurity and IT related project management on behalf of clients preferably in a business environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Five 5 years Project Management experience in a customercentric organization
Outside sales experience calling on businesses or industries with long sales cycles
SALARY: Up to $55000/annually approximately
(Up to $4583.33/monthly approximately)
