Senior Executive Assistant
KBR is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Executive Assistant to join our team to support the Armys Search Track Acquire Radiate Eliminate (STARE) Project Office located on Redstone Arsenal AL. As a Senior Executive Assistant you will provide comprehensive administrative support to senior executives and ensure efficient business operations. You will have the opportunity to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment supporting toplevel decisionmakers and contributing to the success of the organization. The ideal candidate is proactive detailoriented and possesses excellent communication and time management skills. Duties include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage calendars appointments audio and video teleconferences for senior executives.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and travel vouchers for senior executives.
- Prepare and edit correspondence reports and presentations.
- Receive and respond to requests for assistance or information.
- Conduct research and gather information for various mission initiatives.
- Organize and prioritize incoming tasks and requests for senior executives.
- Assist in the preparation and followup of meetings including taking meeting minutes as needed.
- Manage and maintain classified controlled unclassified confidential and unclassified files and documents.
- Liaise with higher headquarters governmental organizations stakeholders and subordinate organizations to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Serve as the point of contact between senior executives.
- Assist in the planning and of STARE Project Office events and special projects.
- Manage operations for senior executive front office.
Required Skills:
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field.
- 10 years of proven experience as an executive assistant or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite MS Teams and SharePoint.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Army OSD and DoD organizations and staff processes.
- Familiarity with the DoD Acquisition process standards and requirements.
- Competence skill level with the DoD Defense Travel System.
