A technical background (BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline/experience)
3 years experience
Strong Unix base O/S experience or proven ability to pick up Linux quickly
Ability to do scripting (any one of Shell Perl Python etc.
Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with programming languages Java or C or C
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Strong understanding of support tickets monitoring processes and metrics
A passion towards problemsolving
Strong decisionmaking ability
Must be able to think proactively; excellent followthrough and attention to details.
Willing to work in 12x7 oncall support (on rotation basis)
Experience on highly concurrent high throughput systems and knowledge of complex distributed systems
