What youll do:
SAP aims to develop an Open Reference Architecture (ORA) for a secure and sustainable cloud edge infrastructure that includes intelligent optimization methods for data transparency and security. This reference infrastructure aspired by the EU IPCEICIS (Important Project of Common European Interest Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure and Services) program shall be the basis for future software development and a prerequisite for a panEuropean cloud edge infrastructure.
SAP will be working on the public funded project with both experienced employees from its existing workforce but also new hires. Therefore we are looking for suitable candidates. If you are interested in Cloud Operating System development and operation the usage and further development of OpenSource solutions and standards interoperability efficiency and sustainability you should consider applying.
What you bring:
We are seeking an innovative communicative and selfdriven individual with technical competence. Your expertise in cloud techniques including InfrastructureasaService containers orchestration and automation is highly valued. You should also have a passion for continuous learning and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
Additionally you bring the following qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Cloud Computing Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing cloud architectures including public private and hybrid cloud environments with a strong focus on scalability and security.
- Proficiency in integrating cloud services into existing systems and applications ensuring seamless operation across the organizations IT infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cloud security practices including identity and access management (IAM) encryption and compliance with industry standards like GDPR and ISO 27001.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to design solutions that meet business requirements while optimizing for performance and cost.

The SAP Cloud Infrastructure is a private cloud solution managed by SAP. It is an internal InfrastructureasaService platform deployed worldwide in 17 regions to support all of SAPs cloud businesses on a global scale.
