Job Duties
Virginia Military Institute an NCAA Division I and Southern Conference member is accepting applications for a fulltime Assistant Basketball Coach.
The successful candidate will assist with organizing and directing all phases of the basketball program to include:
Recruitment of studentathletes.
Coordination of team travel and other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Basketball Coach while following the guidelines for VMI and NCAA.
Instruct studentathletes in playing techniques and skills the subtleties of game rules and collaborative team drills.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelors degree.
Significant coaching experience.
Additional Considerations
Experience in coaching and recruiting at the college or university level desired.
