New $10000 Signon Bonus!

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Schools of Medical Imaging is proud to offer a postprimary program in Computed Tomography for xray technologists who are interested in advancing their career in the field of medical imaging.

This fivemonth fulltime program is designed to prepare students for advanced certification in Computed Tomography. Our program exceeds the minimum structured education requirements to earn ARRT credentials in CT (pending approval of credits by ASRT) and offers comprehensive training for your success as a CT technologist. Classroom courses include Patient Safety Contrast Media Venipuncture Cross Sectional Anatomy CT Principles and Instrumentation Pathology and CT Procedures and Protocols. Clinical experiences offer interactions with diverse patient populations including Inpatient Outpatient Oncology Pediatric Critical Care and Trauma.

This program takes advantage of the wide range of imaging resources available at The Johns Hopkins Hospital Outpatient Center and Johns Hopkins Imaging sites. These clinical facilities provide training on stateoftheart equipment and clinical experiences that may not be found at other institutions. The Johns Hopkins Hospital is consistently recognized as one of the premier health care organizations in the United States and the world. This program is dedicated to training technologists who exemplify this standard and degree of excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • ARRT Credentialed in Radiography
  • Maryland State license from the Board of Physicians
  • Continuing Education Compliant

Salary Range: Minimum31.45per hour Maximum51.91per will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
