Corporate Tax Senior
Location: Newcastle
Salary:per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Fulltime Permanent
Our client a leading national accountancy firm is looking for a Corporate Tax Senior to join its expanding Newcastle office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who is looking to develop their career in a firm that values technical excellence client relationships and career progression.
The Role
As a Corporate Tax Senior you will play a key role in delivering highquality tax advisory and compliance services to a wide range of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients ensuring compliance and advisory work is completed to the highest standards
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns ensuring accuracy and adherence to HMRC regulations
- Providing tax planning and advisory services including group tax planning R&D tax relief capital allowances and corporate restructuring
- Liaising with HMRC and other relevant stakeholders on behalf of clients
- Assisting with business development identifying new advisory opportunities and supporting senior management in growing the corporate tax practice
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members providing technical guidance and reviewing their work
- Keeping up to date with UK tax legislation and ensuring clients are informed of any relevant changes
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role you should have:
ACA ACCA or CTA qualification (or working towards CTA)
Strong experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory services
Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively
Excellent technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
Strong communication and leadership skills
A proactive approach to problemsolving and the ability to work to deadlines
