Lab Technician
Description of Job duties:
Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test protocols to upkeep workbooks and equipment on a daily weekly and monthly schedule.
Conducts daily calculations and fulfills assigned tasks.
Moves samples or equipment between different areas.
Assists in fabricating test equipment and performing mechanical duties.
Flexibility is required for day shifts occasional weekends and potential adjustments to work schedules.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in computer and laboratory skills along with basic familiarity with hand tools and drill press operation.
Basic understanding of Chemistry is advantageous.
Prior background in metal fabrication and elementary electrical skills is desirable.
Education
HS Diploma or equivalent
