Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Design Technician within our PreCon Design team youll play a crucial role in translating client and architect requirements into detailed designs. Your responsibilities will include attending design workshops producing accurate stage 3 information creating drawings for tenders and supporting the Estimating team with your technical expertise. Additionally youll collaborate closely with the Product Development team to innovate new solutions and manage mockups and samples throughout the business.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for drafting and design tasks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and communication.
- Previous experience in the commercial fitout industry.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Experience in creating NBS Specifications.
- Technical coordination and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with glazing joinery or interior fit out sub contract packages.
