Position Title:Logistics Coordinator Rate of Pay:$18.00 Position Purpose: Performs a variety of administrative duties to support the Fair Logistics Committee (FLC). Coordinates rental equipment contracts and vendors. Conducts field layouts and measurements in support of a department or function within the organization. This is a temporary seasonal position not to exceed 119 days. Essential Functions: - Assists with general planning and preparation for the OC Fair.
- Assists with layout and preparation of areas for incoming equipment or vendors including tenting office trailers stages mobile offices fencing restroom trailers pipe and drape etc. with measuring tapes measuring devices spray chalk and stakes.
- Assists with coordinating equipment rental and deliveries.
- Creates signage to assist with the installation of different tent structures around the property.
- Captures photos of different equipment throughout the entire run of the OC Fair.
- Assists with the communication of important dates and information to staff and vendors.
- Prepares and digitizes documents and Fair materials to be archived.
Schedule: May June (MonFri*:2 days per week 7:00am3:30pm June Mid August:45 days per week7:00am3:30pm This schedule is subject to change due to business needs. You may be scheduled on weekends and late evenings occasionally. In addition you may be scheduled for more or less hours than those listed above. - Ability to use Microsoft office software; Word Excel PowerPoint & Outlook.
- Ability to read a tape measure measuring wheel and perform simple math.
- Good customer service skills and the ability to work well with others a must. Ability to work outside the normal business day/week schedule as demanded by events and programs.
