Job Description

Addison Central School DistrictSpeech and Language PathologistsAddison Central School District is seeking fulltime SpeechLanguage Pathologists for the school year. Candidates should be familiar with Ed Doc Vermont (or a comparable webbased paperwork system) progress monitoring and an understanding of a multitiered system of support. Candidates must have experience conducting assessments analyzing results and writing reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech voice fluency pragmatics language and oral motor skills. The ability to utilize information from assessments to write goals for the students IEPs that are strengthbased as well as child and familycentered for overall educational improvement is also critical. Finally candidates must have the ability to differentiate instruction for individual learners implement IEP plans and accommodations possess strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.The chosen candidate will have available CF mentorship and will qualify for reimbursement of ASHA dues. Qualified applicants should have school experience an understanding of standards based instruction and a belief that each student can meet high expectations. Preference will be given to candidates who have earned their Certificate of Clinical Competence. Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a current Vermont teaching license with the pertinent endorsement.
