Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop expert knowledge of Sulzers comprehensive product portfolio including aeration systems mixers waste conditioning equipment pumps and digital monitoring technologies.
  • Provide technical consultation and solution design during presales engagements addressing customer challenges and creating customised highvalue proposals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and channel partners showcasing the innovation and capabilities of our offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with sales engineering and project teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and support project from concept to commissioning.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends competitor developments and emerging technologies contributing to Sulzers continuous growth and leadership in the market.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • A strong engineering background ideally with knowledge of the water and wastewater industry.
  • An engineering degree or equivalent or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD) and MS Office with experience in CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce/SAP desirable).
  • The ability to build rapport with customers and address both technical and commercial queries confidently.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively including overnight stays.
  • Experience in bid/proposal management is desirable.
