Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop expert knowledge of Sulzers comprehensive product portfolio including aeration systems mixers waste conditioning equipment pumps and digital monitoring technologies.
- Provide technical consultation and solution design during presales engagements addressing customer challenges and creating customised highvalue proposals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and channel partners showcasing the innovation and capabilities of our offerings.
- Collaborate closely with sales engineering and project teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and support project from concept to commissioning.
- Stay ahead of industry trends competitor developments and emerging technologies contributing to Sulzers continuous growth and leadership in the market.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- A strong engineering background ideally with knowledge of the water and wastewater industry.
- An engineering degree or equivalent or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD) and MS Office with experience in CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce/SAP desirable).
- The ability to build rapport with customers and address both technical and commercial queries confidently.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively including overnight stays.
- Experience in bid/proposal management is desirable.
