We are looking for a Facilities Technician
The role includes the management of associated service contracts and resource ensuring best practice and costeffective solutions in accordance with corporate safety directives energy efficiency playbook and facility policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Manage the Facilities Team
- Undertake facility improvements and repairs
- Coordinate external Contractors and ensure adherence to contractor control procedure
- Monitor and manage facility service contracts
- Raise purchase orders POs
- Plan and implement facility improvements as aligned with Lears Energy Efficiency Playbook
- Develop and manage a preventative program and manage projects
- Submit PAR & CAPEX costs for any facility projects
- Monitor & manage energy usage
- Ensure facility compliance to Lears directives site procedures and all statutory inspections to comply with relevant legislations
- Lead quarterly Kaizen / improvement projects
- Respond to any Quality / facility investigations
- Provide support to the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance team where applicable.
Key Skills and Qualification:
- Project & Contractor Management.
- Skilled in overseeing projects and coordinating with contractors.
- Holds an advanced Level 3 safety certification (IOSH Managing Safety).
- Experienced in managing facilities and optimizing resources. Facilities Management Level 3
- Good communicator
Demonstrates cooperative teamwork.
