What you will do at Harris County Precinct 4:
The Manager of Road and Bridge reports to the Director of Road and Bridge and assists in managing and directing a variety of engineering activities and personnel to identify evaluate manage and rehabilitate various Precinct 4 road and bridge facilities and systems. Provides technical guidance and training to technical staff and subordinate supervisors:

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited college or university
Experience:
Eight 8 years of active practice in engineering work after graduation from an approved curriculum in engineering
Four 4 of the years as a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Licensure:
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Texas

Position Type Salary and Typical Hours of Work:
Regular Fulltime40 hours per week) Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Hours may vary based on business needs including attendance at public meetings and other industry events outside of normal working hours.
Additional hours may be requested during emergency events including providing coverage on a twelve 12 hour oncall shift basis.
