Building Surveyor

Were looking for Building Surveyors to join our ambitious team in Capita Public Service Place and Asset Solutions. If you have over 12 years experience and are looking to propel your career as a Building Surveyor this could be the perfect position for you.


Youll support our continuing growth in the North East and North West of England with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects including Technical Due Diligence and Forensic Surveying commissions across different sectors.

Our team works in a hybrid style this being a mix of site working home working and office working from our Manchester or North Tyneside office bases.

Job Description:

What youll be doing:

• Assist with developing detailed briefs in conjunction with the client and senior colleagues

• Carry out site surveys (including measured surveys condition surveys & defect analysis)

• Carry out design and specification work and assist with preparing tender information

• Assist with administering building contracts

• Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work (including Condition Surveys Specific Defect Analysis PW work dilapidations Access Audits & FRAs)

• Liaise with Clients Contractors & other consultants (internal and external)

What were looking for:

• BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent

• At an advanced stage for the APC Final Assessment with RICS or CIOB or recently qualified

• Ability to establish a good working relationship with Clients and colleagues

• Selfmotivated and able to work with minimum supervision

• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines

• Good AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills

• Good written & verbal communication skills

• Full UK Driving Licence
