Its an exciting time to be joining us. We own or manage around 7000 homes across North Somerset Bristol Bath South Gloucestershire and in Sedgemoor. We have a diverse housing portfolio in terms of age and type and we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated property specialist to manage our landlord compliance and safety servicing requirements.
In this role you will have overall responsibility for our compliance activities including but not exhaustive: Gas Electrical Water Fire Lifts and Asbestos workstreams within our assets. You will help shape these services so we remain compliant with the relevant statutory and regulatory obligations ensuring our homes are safe and of a high quality for our customers.
The building and fire safety responsibilities within the role involves ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Fire Safety Act 2021 engaging with customers to confirm the safety of their homes and collaborating with regulatory bodies preparing building safety cases to obtain required approvals and certifications.
Whilst managing both budgetary and operational performance requirements for these services you will also have opportunity to look at innovations in technology and in how we work to further champion Alliance as a leader in this field.
This is a key management role and presents an excellent opportunity for the right person to enhance their existing technical and leadership skills supported by an experienced senior leadership team.
About you
In this strategically important role you will have a proven track record in a similar role within housing/property/development sector and have programme management skills in leading compliance change projects and their resources.
You will have a sound understanding of extensive and up to date experience and knowledge of the Building Safety Act Fire Safety Act Health and Safety legislation management and risk management.
You will be a solutionsdriven professional committed to safety and customer wellbeing.
You will also have experience in leading managing and motivating teams setting a clear direction for the service.
