Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Inventory Coordinator II and embark on an ambitious journey to make a realworld impact! Our team is dedicated to supporting critical scientific endeavors from finding cures for cancer to ensuring environmental safety. Located in Boston MA within our Unity Lab Services division you will be part of a worldclass team that provides coordinated lab service support and supply management.

How do we make an impact

As part of our team you will engage in scientific support services including order entry order management stockroom services material handling shipping/receiving and chemical tracking. Your efforts will contribute to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.

What will you do

  • Apply Thermo Fisher Scientifics or customers inventory/order management systems for replenishments disbursements receiving and stock rotation.
  • Deliver chemical packages within a laboratory environment.
  • Sustain and maintain chemical/consumable stockroom inventory.
  • Pickup hazardous waste and deliver packages within the lab.
  • Address customer concerns and proactively communicate with supervisors.
  • Engage in process improvement activities.
  • Follow work processes as outlined by our written procedures.

How will you get here

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 12 years of relevant experience preferably within a laboratory setting or services.
  • Proven customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of using handheld scanners.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently at customer sites.
  • Physically capable of lifting pushing and pulling 3040 pounds consistently.
