We are looking for someone who are interested in helping others and contributing to their community. Call Center Crisis Interventionist provide evidenceinformed crisis intervention suicide prevention information & referral and brief supportive listening to individuals who contact local mental/behavioral health authorities in emotional distress particularly those at high risk for suicidal and/or homicidal thoughts and behaviors. Call Center Crisis Interventionist interact with individuals over the phone via SMS text messaging or chat. The position provides an opportunity to gain a wide range of clinical skills and knowledge of the expanding field of behavioral and telemental health.
The Call Center Crisis Interventionist serve to actively resolve emergencies and crises for persons served by MHMR (My Health My Resources) of Tarrant County and any applicable contracted entities and community partners. This position is meant to aid individuals of all ages to mitigate crises in a traumainformed and least restrictive manner. Call Center Crisis Interventionist interact with individuals via phone SMS or chat. This program operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week to provide continuous support to individuals served. This position requires availability for flexible scheduling which includes working evenings overnights weekends holidays and inclement weather

Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree
Defined Education: : Health or Human Services Acceptable Degrees Include: Applied Behavior Analysis Child Development Counseling Early Childhood Education Early Childhood Intervention Education Psychology Gerontology Human Growth and Development Medicine Nursing Physician Assistant Psychology Registered Nurse Rehabilitation & Rehab Studies Social Work Sociology and Special Education.
