The Opportunity
We are running a large Data Warehouse which is constantly improved and that delivers reports containing cardbased payment transactions in various formats for external and internal stakeholders. We are a collegial friendly and helpful team; looking for a skilled and openminded person to join us.

Your daytoday responsibilities include:
- Building and supporting CI pipelines in GitLab
- Creating various automations with Python and Bash and maintaining existing ones
- Assisting with application modernization and migration from onpremises infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Developing and maintaining Infrastructure asCode (IAC) setups using Terraform
- Setting up monitoring in GCP and improving current onpremises systems monitoring
- Participating in incident management and oncall rotations
- Providing support for legacy onpremises systems until migration is complete
- Sharing knowledge with other team members and organizing demos or workshops occasionally
Skills we cant do without:
- 35 years of experience in an SRE/DevOps role
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) preferably using Terraform
- Proficiency in setting up CI pipelines with a preference for GitLab
- Strong Python knowledge
- Extensive experience with public cloud services 3 years) preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with solid understanding of core cloud services cloudbased architecture and security practices. Knowledge of GCP datarelated services is a big plus
- Experience in setting up monitoring systems and understanding monitoring metrics
- Proven experience with managing Linuxbased systems
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous
- Certifications such as CKA GCP Professional Architect/Security and CCNA are a plus
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus
