Location/Division Specific Information
Seeking motivated Operations Engineer in Tewksbury MA for key role in CTS Business Unit success.
How will you make an impact
Throughout the lifecycle of our products the Operations Engineering team implements quality cost and process improvements to increase customer happiness.
What will you do
- Develops bench level test solutions to qualify PCBAs and electromechanical subassemblies
- Works closely with R&D to drive service and factory requirements in all phases of the Product Management Process (PMP)
- Drives Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on behalf of operations for all new products
- Defines Bill of Materials (BOM) structure for product development
- Defines and builds test assembly installation and service procedures
- Trains Operations Factory Support and Service personnel in new product build test install and repair procedures
- Responsible for engineering change orders to support factory and service as needed
- Supports field service engineers with first installs and upgrades of newly introduced systems and modules to ensure accurate working order.
- Resolves factory or field issues as needed by interacting with the appropriate functional groups to achieve resolution
How will you get here
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in an electrical/electronic technical field that demonstrates the required skills.
Experience
- 03 years of experience in hightech industry environment in service development or operations
- Able to tackle practical electromechanical systems using electrical schematics DVM oscilloscopes function generators and logic analyzers
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Conduct system level coordination for highly coordinated CTS tools
- Capable of PCB design from concept to operations
- Interact directly with operations for product documentation and vendor interactions that support the production and deployment of new or nextgeneration systems designs
- Understanding and experience with low level analog signal processing
- Planning organizing prioritizing and goal setting
- Quality and sustainability focus
- Detailed problem solving
- Achieves results even under difficult situations
- Strong communication excellent written and verbal skills proficient in English and ability to report out to multiple levels of the organization
- Must have ability to acquire a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as needed
