We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative professional to join our team actively engaging in classrooms and the daily life of the school to support students socialemotional and academic success. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the special education process the ability to develop measurable goals and benchmarks for students receiving schoolbased counseling and the capacity to collect and analyze data on student progress. This role requires a proactive studentcentered approach strong teamwork and a commitment to fostering a supportive school environment.Key Responsibilities:* Serve as 504 Coordinator overseeing eligibility determination meeting facilitation plan development and compliance.* Manage high school admissions including writing recommendations supporting student interviews facilitating transition meetings and transferring records. Conduct outreach to area high schools to build relationships gather insights on admissions expectations and support students in finding the bestfit school options.* Provide individual and smallgroup counseling including crisis intervention as needed.* Actively participate in the Wellness Team and support gradelevel Student Support Teams through ResponsetoIntervention (RTI) strategies.* Support staff in the delivery of a socialemotional wellness curriculum for grades 48.* Consult with the Head of School faculty and parents to support student wellbeing and success.* Engage in datadriven goal setting and progress monitoring for students receiving schoolbased counseling services.* Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of School.Why MCCPSMarblehead Community Charter Public School (MCCPS) is a dynamic studentcentered learning community where collaboration innovation and inclusivity drive our mission.
