Duties and Responsibilities
- **Assists Universitys Procurement Card (PCard) Administrator and/or Senior PCard Specialist in the performance of specific and/or limited work assignments relating to program administration.
- **Assists with the administration and oversight of the PCard program through online systems and reconciliation tools used by the program and assists the PCard Administrator in creating reports queries and other deliverables within the systems.
- **Assists the PCard Administrator and/or Senior PCard Specialist in the development and maintenance of effective procedures; processing of PCard applications and distribution of PCards; compliance oversight; and administration of the online reporting/management tools.
- **Reviews and takes appropriate action on department or system office PCard related requests with minimal supervision from the PCard Administrator and/or Senior PCard Specialist.
- **Assists with inquiries from departmental and system office personnel relating to the PCard Administration and works with the PCard issuer to resolve cardholder questions problems and disputes.
- **Assists with the preparation and of a variety of planning review and investigative reports.
- Assists with maintaining the programs website hierarchy and email rosters.
- Assists with the development of PCard training materials and procedures and helps conducts training sessions for University personnel on the proper utilization of the PCard.
- Provides support for periodic training of Fiscal Administrators and other University personnel regarding State laws and University policies and procedures governing PCard procurements.
- Assists with providing technical advice interpretations and recommendations regarding applicable policies procedures and other administrative requirements to administrators faculty and staff.
- Provides general administrative staff support and recommendations for organizational group or technical program.
- Advises supervisor of the progress of assigned projects anticipated problems major policy changes expected to affect specialized area and completion of projects.
- Assists with resolving operational and administrative matters in accordance with current policies procedures and directives as requested.
- Assists with planning coordinating and analysis and supports work within designated subject matter areas.
- Performs other related program administration support duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree in Economics Business Administration Public Administration or related field and 0 years of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities for N/A; or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education knowledge skills and abilities as indicated.
- Functional knowledge of principles practices and techniques in the area of program administration as demonstrated by knowledge understanding and ability to apply concepts terminology.
- Functional knowledge and understanding of principles theories federal and state
laws rules regulations and systems associated with program administration. - Demonstrated ability to recognize problems identify possible causes and resolve the full range of problems that may commonly occur in the area of program administration.
- Demonstrated ability to understand oral and written documentation write reports and procedures and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with
internal and external organizations groups team members and individuals. - Demonstrated ability to operate a personal computer and apply word processing software.
Desirable Qualifications
- Administrative experience in college or university a governmental agency or a large private organization with specialization in procurement corporate credit cards information technology or related areas.
- Functional knowledge of procurement principles practices and techniques related to a Procurement Card program that meets the procurement requirements of a large organization.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and Access Database.
- Knowledge of administrative policies and procedures typical of an institution of higher education.
