Job Description

The Senior Director Patient Support Services collaborates on strategic planning developing goals and objectives and priority setting for areas of responsibility that support care management utilization review and patient transitions. Accountability for developing and establishing a strategic vision and implementing initiatives that achieve optimal patient support across the care continuum. Assumes 24hour accountability for the delivery of professional care and the allocation of resources for the assigned areas of responsibility. Partners with multidisciplinary teams and is responsible for patient care management and utilization review metrics productivity/outcome measures and adherence to professional practice standards for appropriate roles. The Senior Director Patient Support Services will cultivate and sustain a culture that embraces and exemplifies professional practice the development of future leaders and leadership excellence.

Accountable for the planning development provision and continuous improvement of all services within care coordination case management social work child life interpreter services guest services cultural navigation respiratory therapy and home care services. Plan implement and evaluate services to ensure sustained improvements in quality cost delivery safety engagement and family experience in assigned clinical sites. Collaborate and partner with MD leaders service line leaders site of care leaders and community partners to develop implement and operationalize initiatives intended to achieve desired outcomes.

Required Education and Experience
Baccalaureate degree in clinical financial or management discipline.
Masters in Nursing Social Work Business Administration Public Health Healthcare Administration or related field (candidates currently enrolled in a Masters program will be considered).
Individual must complete program within three years in position and maintain solid performance.
Minimum five 5 years of leadership experience in a health care setting.

Required Credentials
Current Washington State license if appropriate.
Must obtain national certification in a clinical specialty area or leadership within three years.
If RN a copy of graduate degree in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of Masters degree in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon hire.
If Masters degree is in Business Administration Public Health Healthcare Administration or related field a copy of the degrees or transcripts indicating attainment of a Masters degree and Bachelors in Nursing degree is to be on record with Human Resources upon hire.
If Masters degree is in process a copy of the Bachelors degree in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of a Bachelors degree in Nursing and a notation of expected Masters completion date is to be on file with Human Resources upon hire.

Preferred
Clinical experience in a pediatric setting.
Knowledge of and experience using lean principles in healthcare.

Compensation Range

$243500.00 $365250.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on fulltime employment 2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
