Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The Management Department at Appalachian State University invites applications for a nontenure track ninemonth Lecturer faculty position beginning Fall of 2024. The position will primarily serve Appalachian States main campus in Boone NC. The Lecturer will teach four 4 management classes per semester and is encouraged to engage and develop relationships with the business community. Primary teaching duties will be inperson courses and holding office hours on the Boone campus. Teaching duties may also include online and/or hybrid courses or inperson courses in Hickory NC.
Minimum Qualifications
A Masters Degree in Business or a closely related discipline is required. If the Masters degree is in an area other than business candidates must have received at least 18 credit hours in the discipline in which they would teach.
