HSE Advisor FIFO exCairns

For more information on TSA and our projects visit are currently seeking an experienced Health Safety & Environment professional to join our team at theSkardon River Bauxite Hills Project in Far North is a FIFO position for someone who ideally lives in Cairns but other locations will be considered.
About the Role:
Reporting toTSA HSEQ and Business Improvement Managerthis role will see you responsible for leading andsupportingTSAs health safety and environmental initiatives on site and ensuring HSE policies and targets are met at all times. The role includes overseeing the implementation and adherence to the TSA Safety Management System and safety guidelines by all out inductionscoordinating & supporting training of employees and contractors at site is also considered routine.
You will apply your experience to promote a safe and healthy work environment across all areas of the business provide coaching/mentoring to managers supervisors andothermarine personnel ensuring that health and safety responsibilities are delivered. You will also work closely with the Personnel department to align processes practices for rehabilitation and recover at work initiatives.
Requirements
- Be willing and able to work as part of a dynamic team
- Diploma in WHS or similar formal HSE training
- Certificate IV in training and assessment
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management
- Senior First aid
- C class drivers licence
- Rehabilitation and return to work experiencedesirable.
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word Excel PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Safety experience at a senior level
- Incident investigation lead auditor to a recognised standard e.g. ICAM is highly desirable.
- Drug and alcohol testing certificate desirable.
