Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic organized and selfstarting Planning and Ops manager who can drive innovation set up the processes and execute in the space of operational and supply chain excellence in Amazon India business. This becomes all the more challenging in India where the mode of business is marketplace.
You will own operational performance of sellers / vendors on marketplace influence FC Ops processes and work with various stakeholders to protect vendor & customer experience. You will also be incharge of driving system/process improvements working with Seller ISMs SC Ops teams vendor operations and delivering on key operation programs which makes the Amazon India business sustainable and profitable in the long term. You will create write and review business cases perform supporting research and analysis and develop solutions from conceptualization to and monitoring.
This position requires strong selfmotivation selfstarting and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work closely with all the category leaders operations team and technology teams to develop strategy dashboards and modes of to solve complex inbound operation and inventory health problems. The candidate will be working with crossfunctional teams to deliver on seller / vendor operational performance along with key operations improvement programs.
Key job responsibilities
Ensure seller / vendor operational performance delivery inline with targets
Identify and articulate strategic importance of metrics as a basis for managing tradeoffs improving the customer experience and making decisions with internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with vendor operations teams on strategies to reduce cost lead time and waste across the endtoend supply chain
Define prioritize and monitor to the programs/projects to achieve targets be delivered on time
Retrieve and analyze data using Excel Access SQL or other data management systems
Monitor project and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with its target date ensuring the overall integrity within the program
Work with Crossfunctional teams to deliver operational performance / projects
Successful candidates will be high analytical and having strong deep dive bias excellent communicators strong influencers curious highly motivated and effective within distributed teams.
The position is located in Bangalore India.
45 years of supply chain/operations work experience in a fast paced environment.
Experience managing a team in a fast paced operations environment preferred
