We are now actively recruiting for an experienced passionate and actionoriented individual to lead the regional Finance team for the Asia Pacific region.
The role of the Regional Financial Controller is to undertake all aspects of financial management including corporate accounting regulatory and financial reporting and budgeting and forecasting preparation for the Region.This Adelaide based role will be responsible for leading the Finance teams in Australia Indonesia and Laos.
KeyResult Areas include:
- Leadership Provide the leadership guidance support and active review of the implementation of BLY commercial policies and requirements.
- EHS As a leader on the Asia Pacific Team demonstrate and take an active role in promoting behavioural safety across the business.
- Financial Establish and drive rigorous financial controls analytical tools and processes and instil broad based business acumen throughout the region.
- Commercial Establish standardised planning tools analysis of actual financial performance and identification/prosecution of improvement opportunities.
- Teamwork Provide analytical support to internal stakeholders to support internal and external focused activity.
- Ethics Integrity & Improvement Comply with all applicable laws regulations statutory obligations and company policies.
A few other things were looking for:
- Graduate level accounting or finance degree.
- CA or CPA qualified. Post graduate studies such as MFin or MBA highly regarded.
- 10 years in financial management roles.
- Experience at Big Four or regional accounting firm desired.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel as well as experience in using various systems including Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle highly regarded.
- A strategic and organised leader with strong commercial acumen.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Impeccable standards of ethics and integrity.
