THE BIG PICTURE
Adams Village Baptist Church (AVBC) (adamsvillagebaptistchurch) a mediumsized Baptist church in southern Jefferson County NY is seeking a new pastor to help our faithful missionminded congregation 82 active members) discern the path that God has planned for us.
The Church
In support of our mission to be a Christian community where people feel inspired to share their time and talents to glorify God and experience His love as they grow in faith and fellowship we have a supportive Church Council; an excellent choir; a dedicated Missions Team; a small childrens Sunday School program; an adult Bible Study group; and an extremely active slate of volunteers who lead a wide variety of fellowship activities.
The Candidate
We recognize that excellent pastors are in high demand and short supply. Therefore we welcome applicants who are seeking fulltime parttime bivocational or shared positions. And though our affiliation with American Baptist Churches USA is an important part of our history we are open to considering a qualified candidate who possesses the spirituality leadership compassion and enthusiasm that would make him/her a good fit for AVBC. Our hearts and minds are open to the person God has prepared to help us realize our vision: AVBC A place where people of all ages connect with Gods word and live it out loud!
