We have an exciting job opportunity fora Distributed Systems Engineer in our AMD
Pensando Engineering team.You will be working on a scalable distributed system that leverages an intentbased model to deliver network and security policy to Pensando Distributed Services Cards and Distributed Services Switches.
Responsibilities
- Design develop a massively scalable distributed system
- Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems and design innovative solutions for customer requirements
- Work closely with development test documentation and product management teams to deliver highquality products in a fastpaced environment
- Engage with customers and support when needed to solve production issues
Requirements
- Strong SW design and programming skills (Go C C preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux
- Experience with defining JSON YAML REST APIs
- Experience with modern orchestration systems like Docker Kubernetes preferred
- Experience with ElasticSearch Cassandra neo4j Kafka InfluxDB Prometheus preferred
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS Azure GCP) preferred
- Good interpersonal skills and effective communication
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
