Position: Senior Engineer ETO

Location: Bangalore

Reporting: Team Leader Design

Nature of work: Individual contributor

Purpose: FEED (Frontend engineering design) and post orderengineering support to large EPC projects for Ingersoll Rand Products like centrifugal compressor blowers vacuum pump etc.

Main responsibilities include understanding project scope design & selection of project specific equipments/components and prepare customer documentation related to centrifugal air/gas compressors and allied subsystems.

Industry Experience: Experienced in handling engineering projects involving mechanical and electrical requirements of heavy machinery used in Oil and Gas industries or similar fields.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in interpreting Scope of Work and create a detailed project planning activities Min 6 years of hands on experience.

• Develop and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) General Assembly Drawing (GAD) and engineering BOM release using PLM 4 years of hands on experience.

• Selection and specification of process and process control components like valves fittings and instruments as per contractual requirement and standards 4 years of hands on experience.

• Prepare skid layout engineer and design skid model and create fabrication drawing for various equipment using CAD tool UG NX 4 years of hands on experience.

Desired Skills (Good to have):

• Experience in API 614 API 617 API 619 API 672 etc. used in compressor system packaging.

• Experience in FEED activities for instrument Air/Gas compressor packages in Oil and gas.

• Multitasking along with communicating with crossfunctional teams suppliers and clients.

• Software AutoCAD Creo parametric.

• Experience on working in Windchill/SAP.

Education Qualification and Personal qualities

• Qualification: BE Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Good communication skills English.

• Experience in working in engineering function of large size EPC Company in the field of oil gas Petrochemical hydrogen or similar fields.
