Position ProfileSummary

The individual is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company. This role involves managing financial planning ensuring liquidity handling investments and maintaining relationships with financial institutions to support the companys financial health and strategic objectives. This also includes ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations managing tax planning strategies and minimizing tax liabilities while ensuring adherence to all applicable tax laws. He/she is responsible for overseeing the internal and external audit processes and ensuring timely and accurate closure of financial books. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and provides financial insights to support decisionmaking.

Roles &Responsibilities

  • Ensure the weekly report in time with accuracy.
  • Do the monthly compliance reporting and closing books on 3rd working day.
  • Prepare financial forecasts budgets and reports formanagement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations andstandards.
  • Develop and manage the annual budgetingprocess.
  • Coordinate with department heads to gather budget inputs and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Analyze budget variances and provide explanations andrecommendations.
  • Prepare and present budget reports to seniormanagement.
  • Monitor and control budgetexpenditures.
  • Update budgets based on actual performance and forecast future financialtrends.
  • Identify costsaving opportunities and efficiencyimprovements.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for business planningactivities.
  • Coordinate with local management and Group controllers.

  • Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws andregulations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns including corporate income tax andGST.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize taxliabilities.
  • Manage tax audits and resolve any disputes or issues with taxauthorities.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on thecompany.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors andconsultants.

  • Work in close Coordination with the Group Insurance team.
  • Submit the information in time to Group Insurance team.
  • Highlight the risk if any to Insurance team.
  • Maintain uptodate records of insurance policies and risk managementactivities.

  • Plan and manage internal and external auditprocesses.
  • Ensure timely and accurate closure of financial books on a monthly quarterly and annual basis.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with accountingstandards.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation andsupport.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies andirregularities.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls andprocesses.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to seniormanagement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and reportingrequirements

  • Analyze and interpret profit and loss statements (P&L) balance sheets (BS) and cash flow (CF) statements.
  • Assess financial performance and provide recommendations forimprovement.
  • Perform Net Present Value (NPV) and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis to assess project viability.
  • Calculate the payback period and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) for projectinvestments.
  • Analyze and compare various financial scenarios and their potentialimpacts.
  • Work closely with other departments such as engineering operations and procurement to gather and validate financial data.
  • Liaise with external auditors consultants and financial institutions asnecessary

Qualification & WorkExperience

Qualification: Certified Chartered Accountant(C.A.

Language: Tamil and English must and Hindi will be added advantage

Exp: 10 Plus

Others: Proficiency in SAP MS Office

  • Experience in working in a Manufacturing environment / market or geography
  • Adaptability & flexibility able to work independently and is selfsufficient but able to confidently reach out when support is required
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excel (Vlookup Sorting and Filter) and PowerPoint skills
  • Analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
