The role
The Childrens Hospital Foundation is seeking a talentedPR and Content Specialist to help elevate our brand and amplify our impact. This role will lead public relations efforts manage influencer and ambassador relationships and develop engaging content across media and digital channels.
Youll be part of a collaborative Marketing team shaping powerful stories and delivering campaigns that inspire generosity and support for sick and injured children across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
This role is on a fulltime and is based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane.
Working closely with the Head of Strategic Marketing and Communications and the Marketing team you will be responsible for:
- Working with the Head of Strategic Marketing and Communications you will ideate and execute PR activities to enhance the Foundations visibility and reputation.
- Draft and distribute press releases coordinate interviews and development media materials.
- Support crisis communication efforts ensuring timely and appropriate response to media enquiries.
- Develop and maintain Foundation storytelling timelines and pitch plans.
- Execute and manage social media content strategies to align with brand and campaign objectives.
- Develop engaging onbrand content in collaboration with internal teams to support campaigns events and initiatives.
- Manage the Foundations influencer and ambassador programs and engagement managing outreach collaborations ongoing relationship yearly calendars bespoke media opportunities and asset development.
- Monitor tag and report on media coverage influencer impact and social media performance to assess campaign success.
- Provide regular reports on PR social media and media outreach activities.

Key criteria
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Bachelors degree in communications Marketing Public Relations or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in PR social media and influencer marketing.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in media relations including endtoend campaign management and .
- Strong contact list with journalists and knowledge of media statewide and nationally.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools for scheduling and reporting.
- Experience maintaining media lists and tracking media coverage.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- A proactive and handson approach to .
- Creative thinking and a passion for staying up to date with industry trends
Desirable:
- Photography and videography skills desirable.
- Experience in working with Canva and WordPress.
- Experience in working with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro.
- Experience working in the notforprofit or healthcare sector is a plus but not required.
