Job Description:
Technical Publications is a unified team of professionals committed to providing quality and timely publication deliverables for commercial and government projects in a dynamic environment. Team members are responsible for gathering composing and editing technical information to prepare flight manuals maintenance manuals and other technical documentation for our warfighters.
Essential Functions:
- Prior experience authoring Software User Manuals technical maintenance manuals and Software Operators Manuals in an Unstructured/Structured FrameMaker environment for Air Force Army or Navy programs.
- Working knowledge of or experience with Common Intelligence Collection System (CICS) Rivet Joint/Cobra Ball/Combat Sent Mission system architecture and mission profile. Working knowledge of Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) Communication Intelligence (COMINT) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) collection systems and strategies. Working knowledge of Ground based support systems for intelligence collection systems.
- Must be able to work well with colleagues internal customers and external customers.
- Must be able to work within and potentially lead defined budgets and meet schedule deadlines.
- Strong computer skills with solid understanding of MS Office Suite and applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field with 2 or more years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Technical publication authoring experience within structured authoring environments to include Unstructured and/or Structured FrameMaker. Technical Publication.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TopSecret DoD Secret Clearance with SCIF Access.
