Job Overview
We are seeking a MidLevel PHE & FF Design Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in the relevant field. The role involves leading the design team and draughtsman coordinating various projects and ensuring effective design documentation and .
Qualifications and Skills
- Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) experience (Mandatory skill)
- Plumbing Designer experience (Mandatory skill)
- Ability to lead the design team and draughtsman to prepare drawings and design documents (Mandatory skill)
- Experience in preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) & Design Basis Report (DBR) for tender projects
- Proficiency in structural calculations and analysis for plumbing and fire protection systems
- Strong understanding of local and international plumbing and fire protection codes and standards
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Revit or equivalent
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the design team and draughtsman in creating comprehensive design documents
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Design Basis Reports (DBR) for tender projects
- Conduct structural calculations for plumbing and fire protection systems
- Ensure adherence to local and international codes and standards in all design activities
- Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to understand and fulfill project requirements
- Review and verify design documents for accuracy and completeness
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and draughtsman
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and comprehensive design solutions
