The ideal candidate will create a nurturing faithfilled classroom environment that supports the academic spiritual and socialemotional development of firstgrade students. The teacher will be committed to inspiring students to reach their full potential and to fostering a love of learning in alignment with our schools mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with diocesan standards and the schools curriculum.
Foster a positive inclusive and faithcentered classroom environment.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessments providing timely feedback to students and parents.
Integrate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and activities.
Collaborate with colleagues administration and parents to support student success.
Participate in professional development faculty meetings and school events.
Maintain accurate records of attendance grades and student progress.
Utilize technology effectively to enhance instruction and communication.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (required).
Valid teaching certification or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
Previous experience teaching early elementary grades preferred.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students.
Commitment to upholding Catholic values and teachings.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and instructional approaches.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a Catholic school environment.
Familiarity with early literacy programs phonics instruction and handson learning strategies.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
