Job Description
A nationally recognized Trademark Copyright Internet & Advertising practice is seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to join its team. This position will assist lawyers in the clearance and prosecution of U.S. and foreign trademark and copyright matters including searches enforcement and due diligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and file electronic trademark and service mark applications with the USPTO.
- Prepare and file copyright applications with the U.S. Copyright Office.
- Independently draft domestic and international office action responses and prosecution documents.
- Communicate with foreign associates regarding international trademark matters.
- Register and manage internet domain names both generic and country extensions.
- Handle adverse matters demand letters and domain name arbitrations.
- Monitor and maintain docket deadlines with accuracy.
- Work in a fastpaced environment with shifting priorities.
- Maintain professionalism confidentiality and excellent client service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 710 years of trademark paralegal experience required.
- Experience in a midtolarge law firm is required.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Strong leadership project management and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.

- Washington State: $67000$134000 annually
- Washington D.C.: $72360$144720 annually
