The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join EYs Global Trade team with a focus around global SAP advisory from a Customs and Trade perspective. The role will play a critical part in SAP implementation projects. The successful individual will be involved in a fast growth part of the UKI Tax practice working with significant multinational clients alongside EYs Indirect Tax Transformation teams Tax Technology and Tech Consulting teams and collaborating with our global EY network including Tax and nonTax SMEs. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build and expand their corporate network.

Customs and Trade is a highly dynamic area with complex technical challenges for businesses around the world. Our clients need our support with understanding what these mean for them in terms of technology data and technology solutions as well as data controls process and governance strategy. As a Trade SAP professional at EY youll use experience and knowledge of SAP functionality additional SAP tax and/or trade applications and thirdparty solutions to help clients identify the right technology tools and manage their systems to deliver tax and/or trade requirements effectively on their international business. The primary role would be to engage with clients and help to maximise the value that their SAP systems can deliver from a Customs and Trade perspective whether these systems are being implemented for the first time or clients are looking to extract more value from the existing SAP system.

Core skills and attributes for success

• Business consulting experience is mandatory
• Experience of SAP implementation in particular with a Trade and Customs angle. This does not have to be limited to SAP GTS.
• A good understanding of SAP ECC/ S4 HANA processes around Sales Procurement and Logistics is essential.
• Experience of handson implementation of SAP GTS is strongly preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has a basic understanding of SAP GTS.
• Experience of SAP EWM and TMS is also preferred.
• Ability to work with clients in a consultative way; helping them translate their business objectives and requirements into SAP solutions.
• Proven high quality delivery and attention to detail.
• Experience working as a team and leading project teams or workstreams particularly internationally.
• Strong interpersonal team and communication skills both verbal and written.
• The candidate should be able to demonstrate ability to coach work in teams collaboration customer centricity service orientation and quality focus.
