Applications are invited to apply for the abovementioned position to be based at Adam Tas Cluster Stellenbosch within the Packaging Engineering Department. The successful applicants will report to the Engineering Specialist at Adam Tas.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To accurately receive issue stock and ensure proper control and to ensure availability of stock in the Central Engineering store.
QUALIFICATION & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 certificate
- 3 years relevant experience in storekeeping
- SAP experience will be an added advantage
- Valid forklift drivers licence will be an added advantage
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage stock rotation following FIFO policy and monitor bin levels
- Safely receive goods and ensure timely processing
- Issue stock accurately and promptly
- Maintain accurate records of stock transactions
- Perform regular stock counts
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company policies
- Perform housekeeping functions
