Your impact

• Work with people with disabilities to deliver services that optimise outcomes for people with a disability.
• Efficiently process donations and products in accordance with requirements.
• Ensure internal or external customers receive excellent customer service.
• Ensure exceptional standards of culture quality and safety are upheld.
• Work as an integral member of the Recycling Plant to assist in the overall achievement of Good Sammys mission and commercial imperatives.

What youll do:

• Work with and provide on the job support people with disabilities.
• Assist in unloading loading and sorting of donations and retail stock.
• Ensure work areas are cleaned maintained safe and that safe work practices and SOPs are followed at all times.
• Report any problems regarding safety production or maintenance of equipment.
• Make recommendations to your supervisor on potential improvements.
• Participate in and deliver meetings and training.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
• Supervise motivate mentor and identify employment goals and training needs for staff within the Warehouse.
• Perform performance and staff management duties in support of the Warehouse Coordinator including interviews performance reviews inductions.
• Assist the Warehouse Coordinator in the daily running of the Warehouse operations.

What youll bring:

• Experience and competency in supporting people with disabilities (highly desirable).
• High level of literacy and numeracy with a demonstrated ability to count accurately and quickly.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to multitask and use own initiative.
• Excellent handeye coordination.
• Great physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive work activities and movements.
• Strong safetyfirst focus.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Able to work with and mentor people.
• Previous experience supervising staff.
