DevSecOps Engineer

• Acting as a Software Engineer supporting Cloud platforms
• Working with other developers and engineers to install configure integrate and develop SaaS PaaS and IaaS services for customers and end users to consume
• Utilizing experience as a CI/CD Developer by trade or Systems Integrator who has a passion for scripting and coding and would like to move into a SW deployment role
• Supporting a large number of services that provide true SaaS and PaaS capabilities to Navy and Marine Corps customers

• Network Infrastructure (BigIP F5 VPN firewalls TCP/IP DNS SFTP)
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS: EC2 VPC Lambda S3 EFS ECR/ECS Route53 IAM RDS Autoscaling CloudTrail CloudWatch etc.
• Experience with writing code be it compiled scripted or otherwise
• Develop and build IT solutions to meet business needs
• Automate manual operational work by using scripting or DevOps tools
• Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines
• Conduct systems tests for security performance and availability
• Implement security measures that align with industry standards and meet the needs of the organization
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting efforts as issues arise
• Experience with Configuration management/infrastructureascode (Terraform)
• CI/CD and application build and deploy (Jenkins Git Artifactory Xray Jira SonarCube)
• Operating Systems (Linux)
• Scripting languages (Python Bash)
• Good communication skills possess the ability to professionally and effectively navigate conflict resolution to resolve issues that arise
• Ability to correlate requirements to specific tasking
• Familiarity with JIRA User Stories and updating Jira tickets with the appropriate level of content
• Experience with technical documentation
• Required to be 8570 compliant (Security) upon starting

• Preferred (BS degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Computer /Software Engineering Physics or Computer Science from an accredited College or University
• Desire to lead small team of developers/cloud engineers
