About the Role
We are looking for Assemblers to perform the duties described below for our plant in Spartanburg SC USA
Your Responsibilities
- Assembles parts by operating machines or using manual methods in a safe manner to meet production goals.
- Reads and follows all work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Ensures compliance with all safety and quality standards. Reports any deviations immediately.
- Observes operation of machines and verify conformance of work piece to specifications and dimensions as well as visually inspect parts for nonconformance.
- Trains other employees as needed.
- Creates and maintains a safe and healthful work environment.
- Responsible for 5S within the plant and daily housekeeping.
- Performs other duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the company.
Who we are looking for
- Experience in automotive manufacturing a plus.
- Knowledge of production assembly line processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of metals is a plus.
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to stand on feet for at least 8 hours per day
Your preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
